If there’s anything we’ve learned from our time online and around the DIY circles, there are just some things you should have a professional do. Family heirlooms shouldn’t be your first foray into DIY. There are too many things that can go wrong, and if you don’t know what you’re doing it can make problems worse.

This particular client was tired of dated stain look and wanted to spruce it up a bit. The set in “circa 1950” is of excellent quality, featuring triple geared slides and is made of solid maple. We here at Foxwood Furniture chemically stripped the hutch table and 8 chairs.

The set had 2 chairs that were broke at the joints, which our skilled craftsmen were able to repair in house. Our in-house upholsterer recovered all the seats with a tight, new beautiful fabric.
